Resume diplomatic ties

12月10日，中國(guó)同中美洲國(guó)家尼加拉瓜恢復(fù)大使級(jí)外交關(guān)系。尼加拉瓜共和國(guó)政府承認(rèn)世界上只有一個(gè)中國(guó)，中華人民共和國(guó)政府是代表全中國(guó)的唯一合法政府，臺(tái)灣是中國(guó)領(lǐng)土不可分割的一部分。尼加拉瓜共和國(guó)政府即日斷絕同臺(tái)灣的“外交關(guān)系”，并承諾不再同臺(tái)灣發(fā)生任何官方關(guān)系，不進(jìn)行任何官方往來(lái)。國(guó)務(wù)委員兼外長(zhǎng)王毅表示，中方歡迎尼加拉瓜政府作出同臺(tái)灣“斷交”、同中華人民共和國(guó)恢復(fù)外交關(guān)系的政治決斷。中尼于1985年建交。1990年，尼加拉瓜右翼政府同臺(tái)灣當(dāng)局“復(fù)交”。

Nicaragua and China resumed diplomatic ties on Dec 10 after the Central American nation broke its ties with Taiwan. The government of Nicaragua recognizes that there is only one China in the world and that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory. It also promises to have neither official relations nor official exchanges with Taiwan. China welcomes and appreciates the right decision made by Nicaragua, said State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. China and Nicaragua established diplomatic ties in 1985. Yet in 1990, China ceased its relations with Nicaragua after the country established official relations with Taiwan.

國(guó)家醫(yī)保局12月3日公布2021年國(guó)家醫(yī)保藥品目錄調(diào)整結(jié)果。本次調(diào)整中，共計(jì)74種藥品新增進(jìn)入目錄，談判調(diào)入的67種獨(dú)家藥品平均“砍價(jià)”61.7%。新增藥品包括腫瘤用藥18種，新冠肺炎治療用藥2種。2021年國(guó)家醫(yī)保談判藥品基金測(cè)算專家組組長(zhǎng)鄭杰表示，部分藥品高價(jià)仍然是很多百姓的負(fù)擔(dān)。鄭杰希望通過努力，更多國(guó)人可以平價(jià)使用好藥新藥。

The National Healthcare Security Administration announced on Dec 3 that 74 drugs will be added to China’s national insurance drug list from the year 2022. Eighteen of the newly added drugs are for cancer treatment and two are for treating COVID-19. The prices of the newly included drugs will be reduced by an average of 61.7 percent thanks to price negotiations since October. Zheng Jie, an expert from the administration’s drug negotiation team, said the high prices of some drugs are still a burden for many people. “Through our efforts, we hope more people in China can benefit from good, new drugs at cheaper prices.”

12月8日至10日召開的中央經(jīng)濟(jì)工作會(huì)議明確，明年經(jīng)濟(jì)工作要穩(wěn)字當(dāng)頭、穩(wěn)中求進(jìn)。會(huì)議指出，在錯(cuò)綜復(fù)雜的國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)形勢(shì)下，中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)“穩(wěn)”的基調(diào)愈發(fā)堅(jiān)實(shí)，“進(jìn)”的態(tài)勢(shì)不斷增強(qiáng)。同時(shí)，也面臨疫情和全球經(jīng)濟(jì)通貨膨脹帶來(lái)的壓力和挑戰(zhàn)。因此，2022年經(jīng)濟(jì)工作要把握穩(wěn)字當(dāng)頭，各方面要積極推出有利于經(jīng)濟(jì)穩(wěn)定的政策，確保中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)巨輪始終沿著正確方向前進(jìn)。

China’s economic development for the upcoming year should prioritize stability while pursuing progress, according to the three-day annual Central Economic Work Conference that concluded on Dec 10 in Beijing. It was noted in the meeting that although China has maintained a leading global position in economic development in 2021, the country’s economy still faces challenges amid the rise in COVID-19 infections and global economic inflation pressure.Thus, stability is highlighted as a major target for the year 2022 and various measures to promote economic prosperity will be rolled out ahead of schedule.
