Coarse spray vaccination is used in most hatcheries in the world's a-day-old chicks.
It’s the primary vaccination against newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis.
One-day old vaccination is important because it exposes the immune system by priming and enabling a strong secondary response later on or boosting.
Coarse spray produces local antibodies, IgA, by the lacrimal glands at the corner of the eyes, while maternal antibodies are still present in the glass tray.

Use the sprayer designed to deliver droplets of 100-120 microns in diameter.
Test the sprayer by spraying in empty box two to three times back or forth.

Prepare vaccine solution to be used within 2 hours.
Add the dye for easy monitoring of vaccination.
Calibrate the spray to deliver droplets of 100-200 microns in diameter.
Apply 5 to 10 milliliters of vaccine solution to a box of 50 chicks.
The chicks must come through with the plumage wet.
