It is one of the big four mosques in China, and the famous muslin gathering place. The first Chinese version of the Quran was translated here. The Great North Mosque
was built in the late period of Jianwen in Ming Dynasty (1402), and the construction was completed in the 18th year of the Yongle reign period (1420). The architectural form is Chinese classical style. It is divided as three yards including the front yard, the back yard and the east yard (i.e. the lecture room, the counter hall and the Quran learning hall). The worship hall faces the east, and the architecture shows the shape of the Chinese character “zhu”. The hall is composed of the front hall, the middle hall and the back hall as well as ancient shed. In addition, it is amazing that there are three pyramid roof pavilions, which tower aloft like peaks, carved beams and painted rafters. They are magnificent, and can be called the treasure of mosques in China.

It was casted in the manner by taking the inner part as mud as the core and casting little by little. With the great historical, scientific and artistic value, it is the national key cultural relic protection site. The Iron Lion has the width of 5.35 meters, the length of 6.3 meters, the body height of 6.6 meters, the body width of 3 meters and the weight of about 40 tons. It enjoys the good reputation of the “Lion King”. The scenic spot of the Iron Lion is not in the downtown of Cangzhou, but on the way from Cangzhou to Yanshan.

In the middle of the lintel in the gate to a monastery, the three Chinese characters “Iron Buddha Temple” was written byMr. Zhao Puchu. The gilding horizontal inscribed boards in the Hall of Heavenly Kings and the Great Buddha’s Hall are written by Aixinjueluo Pujie. There are 33 figures of Buddha in Iron Buddha Temple. The Buddha Shakyamuni in the Great Buddha’s Hall, with the height of 8.24 meters and weight of 48 tons, is the largest sitting iron casted figure of Buddha in China.

Wangyue Tower, with the height of 24 meters, has the pavilion downstairs and hall upstairs. The hall includes four parts such as rooms around the hall, the front hall, the middle hall and the back hall. The flat surface is the convex shape.

蔚州古城東門為安定門，樓為景陽樓；南門為景仙門，樓為萬山樓；西門為清遠(yuǎn)門，樓為廣運樓。三門外均建有高大雄壯的甕城。隔護城河吊橋與內(nèi)城相連，城外為三丈余深，七丈余寬的護城河。目前蔚州古城的南、東城墻已全部拆毀。剩余保存較好的是北城墻和西城墻的北段。東、西城門已毀，僅存南門。護城河?xùn)|、西、南三面基本存在，三門外的石橋仍存。

Outside of the city, there is a moat with the length of 3 zhang and width of 7 zhang. At present, the south and east city walls of Weizhou Ancient City have been destroyed. However, the north city walls and the north part of west city walls are well preserved. The east and west gates have been destroyed, and now only the south gate remained. The east, west and south sides of the moat basically exist, and you can still see the three stone bridges outside of the three gates.

Huapiling is located in the Damaqun Mountain, the extension of Yan Mountain. The highest altitude is 2128.7 meters, the highest peak in the west of Beijing. It is also named “Zitian Mountain”. As the saying goes “13 provinces in China cannot be colder than Huapiling”. The green primitive birches grow in the back slop of Huapiling, with attractive scenery. In July, the temperature is only 15℃. So summer is the best season to travel in Huapiling.

It is the special product in Chuaiguding, Yangyuan County. During the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, Li Zengguang from Chuaiguding was appointed as the magistrate of Binzhou Prefecture, and paid tribute to the emperor with Gezha pancakes, which was appreciated by Empress Dowager Cixi. Gezha pancakes became the superior food favored by nobility of imperial court in Qing Dynasty afterwards.

Being Yanqing “A Hundred Mile Landscape Gallery” is located in the Qianjiadian Town, the southeast of Yanqing County. It is the core area of Yanqing Ecological Cultivation Zone, with the total area of 371 square kilometers. It is 40 kilometers from Yanqing County and 110 kilometers from downtown of Beijing. It is close to Huairou District in the east, adjacent to Chicheng County, Hebei Province in the north, and adjacent to three villages of Xiangying, Liubinbao and Zhenzhuquan in the southeast. Luanchi, Huaqian and Huasha Roads cross the town and form the loop lines, so the traffic is convenient. In 2007, it is evaluated as the best route among the 10 roads for self-driving travel of Beijing. Located in the southwest of Beijing, it is more than 70 kilometers from the downtown. The important component of Shilidu Scenic Spot is Juma River. The river is zigzagged and circuitous, crossing mountains, like a jade belt. Against the peaks, they bring out the best in each other. It is the rare karst landscape in the north. The scenic spot, with amazing mountains and water and sugarbush, is called “Green Mountain, Natural Ferry and A Hundred Mile Landscape Gallery”. Yesanpo is famous in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region. The scenic spot was developed early, with sound supporting facilities. You can enjoy natural scenery and present family filed style. The scenic spot has the altitude of more than 1000 meters, and pay attention to the cold weather. The scenic spot is well-known for “ancient temples, wondrous pines and fantastic rocks”. Miaofeng Mountain belongs to Taihang Mountain Chain, with the igneous rock structure and the altitude of the main peak being 1291 meters. It has the rosary of 1000 mu (honored as the greatest in north China) and the largest scale traditional temple fair in north China. Dajue Temple, also named Dajue Zen Temple, is a temple with the history of a thousand year, the southern foot of Yangtai Mountain (Liaotai Mountain) of western suburb of Beijing. Dajue Temple is famous for ancient trees, Magnolia denudate and clear spring. It was built in Liao Dynasty, and was called Qingshui Temple at that time. In Jin Dynasty, Dajue Temple was one of the eight temples of Xi Mountain during Jinzhangzong Period. Later it renamed as Lingquan Temple, and after it was rebuilt in Ming Dynasty, it was renamed as Dajue Temple. Dajue Temple has 160 ancient trees, including the 1000-year gingko, 300-year Magnolia denudate, ancient sala and pines and cypresses. In addition, there are a lot of ancient trees in the protection list. Dajue Temple (famous for Magnolia denudata), together with Fayuan Temple (famous for lilac) and Chongxiao Temple (famous for peony) are called top three flower temples in Beijing. In April every year, Dajue Temple holds Magnolia Denudata Festival. You can appreciate Magnolia denudata, and at the same time, visit exhibitions and participate in some activities.

It was built in 4^th year of the Jinkang reign period (338) in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is the ten direction standing temple, the birthplace of Buddhism of north China and the largest Buddhist forest, and enjoys high status in Buddhist circle. The last to founder of the Pure-land School are tied to the temple. It is said that “there is Putuo in the South and Hongluo in the north”. This temple is built near the mountain. Around the temple, there are shading woods and ravines and towering ancient trees, and it is the geomantic treasure land. “The three superb sceneries in Hongluo – Royal Bamboo Forest, Male and Female Gingko as well as Chinese wisteria and pine” are now known far and wide. 位于懷柔區(qū)渤海鎮(zhèn)大榛峪村東，是集長城、古洞、山川、泉、潭、瀑布于一體的旅游風(fēng)景區(qū)。景區(qū)整體占地面積18 平方公里，主要景觀有響水湖、磨石口長城和連云嶺長城。位于景區(qū)北部的響水湖并不是一片很大的水域，在泉水的源頭，由于泉水流量較大，千米之外便可聽到湖水的響聲，故名響水湖。明代長城盤踞于景區(qū)山脊之上。此處長城為古長城磨石口關(guān)，建于明永樂2年（1404），距今有600余年的歷史。明萬歷年間在此修筑了一個水關(guān)，也叫“甕城”，并設(shè)有兩道關(guān)門，故又稱“雙關(guān)子”，是古長城中少有的關(guān)口樣式，現(xiàn)保存較完整。

It is located in Huairou, Beijing City. As early as the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the Northern Qi Dynasty built Grate Wall in Mutianyu. In the 3rd year of the Longqing reign period (1569), Tan Lun and Qi Jiguang guarded Beijing, and they repaired the Great Wall based on the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty. 五大道風(fēng)情區(qū)是指成都道以南，馬場道以北，西康路以東，馬場道與南京路交口以西的一片長方形區(qū)域。擁有上個世紀(jì)二三十年代建成的歐式、日式等不同建筑風(fēng)格的花園式房屋2000 多所，占地面積60萬平方米，總建筑面積被譽為獨具特色的“萬國建筑博覽館”。
Five Big Road is a triangle area that is south of Chengdu Road, north of Machang Road, east of Xikang Road, and west of Machang Road and Nanjing Road. It has more than 2000 garden style houses of different architectural styles including European styles and Japanese style which were built during the period from 1920s to 1930s. It occupies the area of 600,000 square meters, and it has the reputation of the featured “international architecture museum”.

In 2012, after improvement and transformation for 18 months, Minyuan Stadium appeared as the British classic style landmark building. Minyuan Xili, located in No. 29-39, Changde Road, Five Big Road, was built in 1939. It was designed by Shen Liyuan, the famous architecture designer. In 2009, after elaborate repair, Minyuan Xili Cultural Creativity Street was officially opened to the public. The “going to the alley” activities regularly held by the street attract creative talents and handicraft lovers in Beijing and Tianjin. The unique alley culture makes Minyuan Xili the new gathering place for artistic life. Xianlong Yard, located in the intersection between Hebei Road and Luoyang Road of the Five Big Road, has the planned floor area of 25,400 square meters. It is one of the earlies architectures in Five Big Road. It is one of the earliest building groups in Five Big Road. As the public art square in Five Big Road, Xianlong Yard sets up the bridge between artists and audience.

This hotel was built by John Innocent, the missionary of British Methodism in 1863. In 1860, after Beijing Agreement was signed, Tianjin, as the business open port and was divided into 9 settlements. In the early period of 19^th century, the Astor Hotel was the landmark place for political and social gathering in the city. After extension for many times, this hotel has adopted different architectural styles including classic Victorian style, Indian Style and modernism style in 1920s.
